Bring your truck. We'll keep it loaded.

You own the truck and run the road. We bring the freight and the coordination. Most of the work is container drayage and intermodal legs off the GTA rail ramps, plus cross-border lanes into the US, and one point of contact you can reach.

Driver questions

A few things drivers ask.

What do I need to drive for you?
Your own tractor and trailing equipment, a valid licence and clean abstract, your own operating authority and insurance, and drayage or cross-border experience. You bring the truck; we bring the freight and the coordination.
Do I need my own trailer or chassis?
Yes. Setara does not own trucks, trailers, or chassis. We are a freight forwarder, so we arrange the freight through a vetted carrier network and you run it with your own equipment.
How and when do I get paid?
By direct deposit, on a settlement schedule we set with you at onboarding. You will know the exact pay terms and the settlement day before your first load.
What lanes will I run?
Steady cross-border and domestic lanes across Canada and the US, with a coordination team you can reach. Plenty of it is container drayage and intermodal truck legs off the GTA rail ramps, plus lanes across Ontario. We arrange and coordinate the freight, so your truck keeps working instead of hunting the spot market.
Is Setara part of the Setara Group?
Yes. Setara Transport is the trucking side of the Setara Group. Setara Logistics handles the forwarding, with customs cleared through a licensed customs broker partner, and we arrange the trucking and drayage through a vetted carrier network.
