Setara · Logistics and transport across Canada.
For shippers, forwarders & 3PLs

Vet us and set us up in a day.

Hand us your freight in every mode across Canada and the United States, and we arrange it through a vetted carrier network. Everything you need to vet us is on this page. Our onboarding packet is one request away.

What we move

From a single box to a full deck.

Every mode, from a single container off the rail ramp to a full oversize deck. Container drayage from the GTA's CN and CPKC rail ramps, delivered across Ontario, is a core strength.

Who we work with

Freight we're built to handle.

If your freight looks like this, we're a fit. If it doesn't, we'll tell you straight.

Importers

Ocean freight off the ports and intermodal ramps, with drayage and delivery arranged on time.

Forwarders & 3PLs

Hand us the lanes you'd rather not manage yourself, and we arrange the capacity.

Manufacturers & distributors

Dry van and full truckloads, plus partials, on the core lanes.

Retail & DC replenishment

Steady cross-border and domestic runs into and out of your distribution centres.

Building products & project freight

Flatbed and oversize through our vetted carrier network, on the right deck.

Temperature-controlled

Reefer capacity sourced through the carrier network for food and sensitive loads.

How we work

Everything you need to set us up.

Setara is a freight forwarder. We do not own trucks and we do not hold carrier authority. We arrange, coordinate, and manage your trucking and drayage through a vetted carrier network, and we stay on the load from pickup to delivery.

That means one point of contact, one invoice, and a straight answer on which carrier is covering each move. Customs is handled through a licensed customs broker partner.

Our company details and the paperwork your vendor setup needs come with the packet.

How it works

Set up in a day, not a quarter.

1

Tell us what you need covered

The lanes, the equipment, the volume. A few lines is plenty to start.

2

We send the packet

The company details, tax forms, and service agreement your vendor setup needs.

3

You add us to your system

Into your TMS or approved-vendor list, however you run it.

4

We start covering loads

One contact, one invoice, and you always know where the load is.

A coordinator will come back with how we'd cover your lane and a rate. Our team replies promptly, Mon-Fri.

A coordinator follows up with everything you need to onboard us. Any quotation and all services are subject to our Standard Trading Conditions, which limit our liability.

Shipper questions

What shippers ask before they tender.

What does Setara move?
Container drayage, dry van, FTL, and LTL, plus intermodal truck legs. Flatbed, oversize, and reefer as well. We arrange all of it through a vetted carrier network, with one point of contact and one invoice across every mode.
Where do you move freight?
Across Canada and the United States, including cross-border lanes both directions. We are based in Vaughan, Ontario, and container drayage arranged from the GTA's CN and CPKC rail ramps, delivered across Ontario, is a core strength.
Do you run your own trucks?
No. Setara is a freight forwarder. We do not own trucks and we do not hold carrier authority. We arrange your freight through a vetted carrier network, and we tell you which carrier is covering the move.
How do we set you up or request capacity?
Tell us the lanes, equipment, and volume through the form on this page. A coordinator sends our company details, tax forms, and service agreement, so you can add us to your TMS or approved-vendor list, usually in a day.
How is customs handled?
Customs is handled through a licensed customs broker partner. We arrange the freight and coordinate the crossing; the broker clears it.
